Questions for early Alaskan cruisers!

I'm really excited for the reviews and tips to start pouring in now that Alaskan cruise #1 has come to an end. :) July 26th you cannot come soon enough!

This is definitely the WORST! Especially when you didn't re-book on board.

Having seen some of the blogs and the people having gone on these last two cruises, I would say it's safe to say the majority have rebooked at least dummy cruises. The repositioning cruise and the first Alaskan cruise had alot of veteran DCL cruisers on them!!

However, I do think they will be in major withdrawal!! :lmao:

Well if they don't I sure am!

I have been reading the blogs and trying to keep up with the boards and I am already having withdrawals and I haven't even gone yet.:rotfl2:

Yeah, I sure would like the questions answered and the navigators posted so I can ask some more questions:rotfl:

But I thank them for taking the time that they did to share their wonderful experience.

I go in August and sure hope there will be some snow.

Pictures! Pictures of the Taste of Alaska Menu! Navigators and Pictures ....c'mon guys...this should totally be your first priority after getting off a 7 day cruise and flying hours and hours back home---updating your DIS'er friends :thumbsup2 J/K...hope everyone had a good time. ....now start posting Trip Reports please :goodvibes

I a a scanner app on my iPhone, so I will scan and post navigators while at sea.

I think its called scan cam - what I will do is find a 'partner' I can email them to - so if someone wants to be that person - they will conver to a pdf file, then they can upload them and post them - so ifyou want to do it, make sure you know how to upload a pdf somewhere on the web - msg me your email. I wont do it every day, but when I can get wifi in port. Once we are back in Canada I can use my 3G easily too with no roaming. So maybe 3-5 updates in the week.

When I share documents and pictures on the DIS, I use Dropbox. It has 2GB of space for anything you want. You upload your photos and documents to the "Public" folder and it will give you a link to share with everyone.

The website is Dropbox.com, or my referral link --> http://db.tt/KUDletr

IT WORKED!!! So I used cam scan and coverted that photo to a pdf file - so I can post navigators next week.
I have 3G and live local, so will upload the first day as soon as I get my hands on it before we get on the ship!
