It's at least true for the current sailing -- marinetraffic.com on the live positioning maps shows the Wonder headed up the west coast of Vancouver Island....

Oh boy..... There was a lot of debate and concern over this last year..... DCL's website originally reflected the route as going around the island. Everyone (including myself) cheered when DCL updated their website to reflect the itenerary going through the inside passage.... It made more since to do it that way and still does..... I sure hope they have not changed it

I agree. There will be many disappointed passengers (myself included) if they aren't going to sail the route they showed for the 2011 sailings...

We would be very disappointed if they didn't sail the inside passage either.


ETA: I just saw this on a Facebook post from someone on the cruise:
And we're off! Beautiful sailing out of here. We will be going outside of the passage on the way up since it will be dark, but inside passage on the return.

Hopefully, this won't be the case for all sailings.
