Questions for any previous Disney (other?) trip winners

If you enter a contest and the prize is 4 nights/5 days for four, but we're a family of 5, can we "buy" the extra person's flight/meal/ticket, etc. Can extra nights/days be added on? If the rules say a "Disney Deluxe hotel", do I have a choice? I have entered many contests and have never won but my fingers are crossed and I just keep on trying, lol.

Someone in the office where I work won a trip to WDW and they were able to pay for an additonal person. Keep on entering!!!

We won a week at Disney for four, but we didn't try to add on anything so I don't know about that.

We won a week at a deluxe resort, and for that we were given our choice of either the Boardwalk or Yacht Club.

I think they often give you some choice. We have a family of 5, and I would choose a place that sleeps 5 in a standard. I also would have the youngest child to be the one not included in the plan since he doesn't trigger an extra adult fee. Other than that, I would get the plane ticket, his pass and his food on my own.

I hope this is a problem I get to deal with at some point!
