Hi! I leave this Saturday, and I have a few questions:

My family and I know NOTHING about excursions, other than what they entail. What are some good/bad ones? When and where should we book them? Any info you could give me would be great!

Second, my sister (18) is a great ballroom dancer, and she wanted to know - are there any dances where she can show off some of her skills?

Thanks so much for your help! I'm so excited!

Hi Bethany: I would suggest booking excursions before you leave for your cruise. Some excursions are better than others, but it depends on the preferences and interests of you and your family. We're going on our 4th DCL cruise this fall and have never been disappointed with our excursion choices. On our cruise to St. Thomas, we went to Trunk Bay for the day. Beautiful scenery. You can do a search on past threads to get opinions regarding various excursions. You can also go to Barb and Tony's website for invaluable info -- www.castawayclub.com

I don't know if your sister will be able to find what she wants on the cruise regarding dancing.

Enjoy the Magic! It's a great, magical experience.

P.S. We're from Williamston and a MSU fans.

Your best bet is to wait until you board and head over to the Excursion's Desk and see what is available. By now all the good excursion are probably booked. You don't necessarily have to do any excursions to enjoy, even exploring the islands on your own would be fun!

As for the Dancing, have your sis look for Karen! She is the CM that does the dance classes. Maybe she can let her know where she can show off her talents!

Enjoy your cruise!

HAVE FUN!

I just needed to say "Go Spartans Beat Wisconsin", big game tonight.

I think if you have an excursion in mind ask about it, because I am sure you will find someone on these boards who has done it and can tell you all about it. These boards are a wonder source of information.

BTW we are also from Williamston, and bleed green not only for the Spartans but our hometown Hornets. Our first cruise is coming up very shortly also, let us know when you get back how it was.

My wife talked the kids and I into the Regatta in St. Martin. I was leary, and it WAS work, but a huge kick in the pants to race an America's cup Yacht. And it doesn't seem to sell out as fast as some of the others.
