questions about wrist bands and "regular tickets"

we leave for the world in less then a month

this is the first time since the magic bands and have a lot of Q'S

first off I have 2 days left on a regular ticket while DH doesn't so how does that work with getting the magic band

can they put my 2 days on a band or do I have to use my days and then have 1 day on the band

because of this I haven't ordered the bands so Im assuming we can do all this when we check in

or can I order and have the tickets put in when we get there

also with FP do we have to do this before we leave or do they still have this at the parks I thinking though since were going the end of Jan 24-29 FP wont be an issue? hopeing!!!

any other tips or advice anyone can give would be greatly appricated
thanks all--this trip was totally unexpected but we got a code we couldn't resist actually in the last few months weve gotten 3 different codes for the same % off for the same time frame!!! since were going on a cruise to Europe in May!!thanks again and Happy Holidays

Magic bands are like tickets on your wrist - so they get you into the parks and if you have FP+ into the rides that you have scheduled. In addition if you are staying onsite they will get you into your room and you can use them for your meal plan (if you got it) and for charging to your room (if you set that up).

IMO order your magic bands in advance then you can pick your color and anything (up to 9? letters/ numbers) you want it to say on the inside.

FP+ is booked via the number of ticket days you have. right now you have 2 if you link your ticket and your DH has none - so he can't schedule any FP+. My suggestion is if you're going to get tickets go ahead and get them and link them to your MDE account so you can arrange your FP+s. Also a MUST READ for FP+ is Mesaboys post - honestly it explains everything REALLY well!!!

If you are planning on riding 7 Dwarfs Mine Train or seeing Anna & Elsa, you need to book them in advance. These are highly sought after FPs. Even during slow months, the lines are very long if you do standby wait. I'm not even sure you can get them now. You may luck out.
