If my 9-year-old has a FP+ reservation for, say Splash Mountain, but decides not to use it, can another member of our party use her ticket to ride during that window?

If you swap the two individual's MagicBands.

We were there last week, and I know when you use your FP+ your name shows up on the CM's screen. I am not sure how much attention they pay to that, but I saw our names several times on the screens. I am not sure if it shows a difference between child and adult?

On our last trip, we had FP+ for ToT for all 4 of us. DH and I decided we didn't want to ride, so the kids took our MBs. They rode the first time with their MBs, and then they got right back in line with our MBs. They had no problem with it at all.
