Questions about Typhoon Lagoon?

We have planned 1 day of our vacation as a water park day and have decided on TL.

We are planning to be there at opening but we are on the fence about renting an umbrella and chairs.

How do you "save" lounge chairs if we choose not to rent the umbrella and chairs? I'm concerned that if we just put towels down to save our space some one will just come move them.

We are a family of 3 and we plan to ride everything at the same time so will it even be possible to save a spot to go back to?

And I also feel we are forced to rent a locker if we bring anything into the park for fear of someone just taking it from our spot?

Any help with what has worked for others before would be appreciated

I'm not guaranteeing anything, but we've always been able to leave our towels, shoes, clothes, sunscreen, etc. with a group of chairs and not have it disturbed. I'd never leave anything of real value, of course. We don't usually go back to the chairs for long, so we don't save a lounge chair for each of us...just one for the group or sometimes just a little chair or two.
