Questions about Tickets and MNSSHP

Our family is planning a 4 night September trip and were fortunate enough to get Free Dining. We also want to go to MNSSHP as a continuation of a Magic Kingdom day. My wife wants this to be a relaxing trip and plans only two park days. We had to get a 2 day Park Hopper in order to get the Free Dining discount.

Right now she is planning a day at the MK, a day at Epcot (possibly hopping to DHS to see the Star Wars fireworks) and an off day in between, I am a little more ambitious and am contmeplating a AK/DHS day on her non-park day. It is a AK EMH morning and I would like to make FastPasses for DHS in the afternoon. In order to do this I would need to add another day to my current ticket. I read on these boards that I would only be able to do this at check-in.

My questions are:

1. Can I call Disney and see if they will add one day to just my ticket?

2. If I have two days worth of tickets and my MNSSHP ticket linked to my account, will I be able to do 3 days of FastPasses regardless of the time? Or will I have to wait until the 3:30/4:30/5:30 time slots? If I can do this I would not need to worry about adding the extra day until I check in.

Any help would be be appreciated.

1. Disney will add on a day to your tickets now because you have a package. So, call and get that done.

2. Yes. The MNSSHP opens up FP booking for the complete day. If you link these tickets to phantoms/fake people listed in your MDE, you can book 3 FPs with your party ticket and then 3 FPs with the regular ticket for that same day.

That's what I was told. Trying to convince others to meet me at DHS for the fireworks.

No, because it was purchased as part of a package, Disney now adds on requested entitlements prior to a trip because it is all digital entitlements.

If @Laura's Dad had purchased separate tickets then he would not be able to add on a day. Packaged ticket entitlements can be increased or even decreased as long as the minimum number of entitlements have been purchased for the promotion.

Thanks for the info. I will call tomorrow. I may have already convinced She Who Must be Obeyed to increase all of our tickets.
