Questions about taking the Praxis...

I want to take the Praxis II so my licensing will go up to 8th grade. (Currently I am licensed up to 3rd) I have been all over the Praxis site and it is hard to decipher. Does anyone know what tests I need to take for the state of NJ?

I'm pretty sure that I need to take one (or more) of the following:

Elementary Ed:Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
Elementary Ed:Content Area
Elementary Ed:Content Essay
Elementary Ed:Content Knowledge

I can't figure out if I need to take all of these, or if there are other ones I need to take. I looked up what the state of NJ wants but to be honest it's just not real clear. Can anyone help?

I know that I can call them but today is a holiday.

Well, I don't know if I can help you but this is what I have been told. I'm a teaching student-- and this is what my professors have been telling me.

I need to take the following:

Praxis I
Praxis II for content (I'm a special ed/english major, so this one would be English)
Praxis II for special ed.

I think there is a teacher of the handicapped one as well, but the professors are unclear on that one.
