Questions about splitting meals

Hi everyone! I have gotten a lot of info out of this thread! Thanks to everyone who contributes. My DD26 and I are going back WDW for Marathon weekend in January and are getting the DDP for the first time. I have a question: In the past we have split meals at some places, knowing it is a lot of food. For example, Beaches & Cream, splitting the grilled cheese w/soup and sharing the dessert. Would they allow us both to dine and just use 1 TS credit and split the meal and dessert?

Yes. Via Napoli and buffets/AYCTE places will not.m
