Questions about Niagara Falls

We stayed on the Canadian side but ended up doing most of the activities on the American side. I did not like the Clifton Hills/touristy stuff very much although the kids did.

I would recommend a ride to Niagara on the Lake. Very pretty town and car ride.

I second Niagara on the Lake...maybe even stay there in a bed and breakfast.

Each side of the Falls has it's own merit, it just depends on what you want The US side is a state park and is very natural...The Cave of the Winds is so much better than the Walk Behind the Falls on the Canadian side. (IMO) The Maid of the Mist you can do from either side. Canada has more tourist type things and they have the Butterfly Conservatory (which I found very neat but also freaky cause butterflies land on you!)

Both sides have Casinos...I've been to all of them and have no preference..I manage to not win at all of them.

Hey fellow Rochestarian! nice to see another who likes are city and doesn't just put it down! Great places around here too!

We are quite nice! (As long as it isn't snowing! )

There is a very nice walking path on the NY side...as I mentioned, I tend to go in the cold, wet weather, so for me that loses some of it's charm

OP: you mentioned you're going in the fall...when in the fall??
