Questions about MVMCP and characters

Hi,

I was wondering if on MVMCP if there are character meet and greets? I saw on a previous thread the show times and wondered if we would be able to do all the shows plus the character meet and greets? My kids are very excited about seeing the characters in their holiday outfits. So if there are meet and greets and the shows, then I figure we may not be able to do any rides. Is this a correct assumption? I am thinking maybe I should be tickets for another night and then split doing the shows so we can do some rides too. I would appreciate any info or advice.
Thank you,
Susan:D

We found that going to two MVMCP's allowed us to relax and enjoy the shows, characters, rides, the parade, and the fireworks. I know that it is expensive, but it was so cool.

There are characters everywhere during MVMCP. We stumbled into them in what seemed to be the oddest places sometimes. The best part is that many characters are in different holiday outfits throughout the WDW parks. We have 4 different Mickey's from our trip last year. Maggie

When you say you stumbled into them, do you mean they were roaming around the parks, or were at regular stations, but more frequent?

We stumbled into them. I did not read about any meet and greets, but we saw several. And don't forget toontown fair. No line at all. We saw all 7 dwarfs marching around fantasyland. We also went two nights. We did not do any other parks these days and went to christmas party around 5:00 or so. I found this to be much nicer than spending the whole day there.

Wow! Very cool! I just can't wait. Could I possibly be more excited than the kids? LOL

If your kids can make it all night, I would suggest saving Toontown until one of the last things to do in the evening. We went back there shortly after 11pm, and it was totally dead. They opened all the doors and the characters were running around acting silly, etc. We got some awesome pics of us with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, all together and all in their holiday outfits, VERY cool. :D

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. I am going to get tickets for another night. I don't want to have to feel like we are rushing, Thanks for the tip on Toontown, it sounds great!!

Thanks,
Susan

Another character question for MVMCP.

Is Uncle Scrooge present at the park during Christmas? Either in a parade/show or a meet and greet. Please post if you have seen him in the last couple of years. He is one of hubby's favs.
