Hello: We will be at MK on July 3-4, following a 4 day DCL cruise on the Wonder. We will have a 6 year old with us.

Any suggestions for lunch in MK? We have dinner reservations at GF.

Should we plan a visit to Toon Town after dinner (less crowded)?

Where do I find a Dole Whip in MK? I've been reading about them and missed them the last few times I've been at WDW.

Any suggestions about where to view the parade and fireworks at MK?

Thanks.

There are plenty of good places to eat. Pinnochios is great near Arial's Grotto.

The Dole WHips are in Adventure Land on the right (if you are heading in from the entrance) right before the Swiss Family Tree House.

The parade and fireworks viewing is always jammed. We were there last month during the slow time and I couldn't believe the crowds. People were lining up 2.5 hours before them! We had the best views right near the entrance of the park looking down main street with the castle in the background. There is another out of the way place to see the parade. There's a path from Fantasy land to Fronteir land near the castle that has a viewing place that's not too crowded. You can see the parade go over the bridge. But I don't know how the fireworks look from there.

we always grab a dog & fries at caseys for lunch (go early)

Lunch at MK - if you want a character lunch, we like Crystal Palace - it's Pooh and Crew.
Tony 's is nice too for pasta.
For the burgers/ fast food, we like Ray's near the tea cups at the edge of tomorrow land.

I viewed Spectromagic and Fireworks from over near Splash Mountain.

Not sure how it will be your time of year but in May it worked great - the lines for Splash and Big Thunder Mountain RR melted away heading into parade time - was able to walk onto both with essentially no lineup and then walk over by Splash and watch Spectro come by - this is at the end of the parade so takes some time from the start of the parade for it to wind over - this is the time that BTMRR and SM are very very quiet

Then just walked over to the walkway bridge and viewed FITS

Thanks
