Questions about Fantasmic!

I'm looking at going on a level 5 day in October. HS park hours are 9-7:30 w/ F! @ 8:00. For seats, how early should we line up? 7:30? 7:15? 7:00? It's just my DD (17) and I so we don't want too close but a good view. This will be our first F!
Also, how long does it last?

I'd recommending lining up at about 7:15. My recommendation would be to grab something for dinner at one of the counter services places on Sunset Blvd and take it into the theater. This helps pass the time. The show is about a half hour long.
