Questions about Cindy's PS's

OK, if Cindy's is "booked" for a particular day you want, What's the next best thing to try for that day?
Call every day to see if there are any cancellations?
Call closer to the day? Call the day before? Have the Resort try that you are staying at??
Any reccomendations?

You can call everyday if you have the time but the closer you get to your date of departure, you might have better luck. Many people will wait to the last minute before dropping the PS.

Calling when you get to WDW is a good alternative. The resort's don't have any extra pull (unless you have concierage (sp?) service. Those people do have some clout!). Also, it doesn't hurt to just walk up and check when you are at MK.

BTW, lunch and dinner in the castle is very good and there's usually a princess, prince or fairy god mother around the waiting (er, throne) room before you get seated.

Don't forget about Epcot's Princess breakfast or Cindy's new dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the GF. Both of these can be booked up to 120 days out.

When talking to a very helpful CM yesterday she told me to try early in the morning for cancellations and to try closer to date but she told me that they will not rebook any cancellations less than 2 days away. So if people are waiting to cancel until right before the 24hr window they will not rebook those tables. She said this is because they can't offer the same cancellation period with something booked less than 2 days away. I hope that makes sesnse, she explained it better. To put it simply if you want to go on a wednesday the last day you could call would be on monday. So as reminder to those lucky people with more than one ressie please cancel 2 days prior for those of us who are still trying. Good Luck.
