Okay guys....I never thought we'd be going to Disney in mid-November being that I LOVE going in August/September, but it looks like we'll be headed to Disney on November 16. A couple of questions:

1) Weather? Cool off at night?

2) Crowds?

3) Are Christmas decorations up yet???

TIA!!!

Hi! We usually go the week before that but I think I can answer your questions.

You will need pants and a jacket at night, but the weather is great during the day and since the pools are heated, you can still swim!

The crowds will vary greatly-the weekends are crowded because of the Food and Wine Festival and the locals with their seasonal passes, but dduring the week should be nice. You can check at Disney.com to see what other events are going on like Festival of the Masters, etc.

You most likely won't see any Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving.

Hope I helped!

You will be there in almost exactly the same timeframe we visited in Nov. 2000. We arrived on Nov. 15 (Nov. 16 is my birthday) and much to our surprise the tree was up and fully decorated at the GF. They added the gingerbred house during our week's stay - it was fun to measure its progress everyday when we got back from the parks.

Every other resort we visited for dinners out was decorated as well - the WL was truly spectacular.

The parks were getting their holiday decorations over the week as well - by the time we flew home (Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving) all the parks had their large trees up.

I would guess the timing depends upon when Thanksgiving falls...the beginning of the holiday season.

The weather while we were there turned very chilly (for Florida) - the was a freeze warning several nights and day time temps were in the upper 50-low 60's.

We had a great trip.

I think you'll love it! We always go @Thanksgiving and this year decided to go for Veterans Day week. The weather is usually very nice (we've had a full week of 80º days before) but be prepared for changes, especially after dark. Just carry a pair or two of jeans and a light jacket and you'll be fine. Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks to all 3 of you! All of my questions were answered.

I have mixed feelings about the weather. I live to go to WDW for the heat, but if I'm hoping to see some Cmas decorations it seems like it should be on the cool side to feel like a real Cmas. Obviously, I'm from the northeast!
