Question Regarding DVC and Club Level

My wife and I were looking into buying used DVC points in BWV. One question is that we love the Inn Keepers Club at the BWI. Can you use your DVC points to book a CL room? If so how would you go about it?

No, the only DVC resort currently with CL service is AKV. DVC points cannot be used at BWI at all or at any of the other shared resorts - WL, BC, AKL and now CR. DVC points can be used for CL at GF, Poly and YC since those Deluxe Resorts do not have a DVC component.

AKV has a small number of CL villas in the Jambo House section of the DVC resort but would be difficult to reserve without the 11 month reservation priority.

And if you choose to book the AKV Concierge level, you really need to have AKV points and reserve it at 11 months out exactly. There are only five two bedroom lockoffs (meaning they can be reserved as a studio and one bedroom or as a two bedroom with the door between the two units opened) with three Savanna views and two pool views. At least one of these is handicap accessible.

It's worth pointing out that the point requirements for those rooms are ridiculously high. Not something you want to plan on ever doing. But if you happen to have a bunch of extra points that need to be used and have a special occasion coming up, it's nice knowing you have the option.
