I booked airfare for friends of ours headed to Florida later this month. I used my credit card and they repaid me by check. I know we can print the boarding passes for the flight down before they leave with no problem. However for the return flight the boarding passes will have to be printed down there. In the event they have to print them at the airport, what will they need besides the Confirmation Number. If they need the credit card the ticket was booked with, we may have a problem! LOL

Anyone know what is needed to print the boarding passes at the airport?

Thanks!

I've nerver flown SW but I would think you would not need the CC to print out boarding passes. My sister gets tickets for me all the time (and we live in different states) with different airlines and all I use at the airport is the confirmation number. I've never had a problem. I'll be using SW for the first time this year and I used PP to pay so no CC to show at airport.

You can enter the flight confirmation number. I think the CC can be swiped as a backup method if you don't have the confirmation number handy but I'm not positive about that because I always use the confirmation number.

Do they have smart phones? If so they could download the app. With that they could check in and view boarding passes right from the phone. No need to print anything.

Thanks Everyone! You've relieved my mind!

All I've ever needed was Conf number and Names of passenger

We used to go through the trouble of trying to find a way to print our boarding passes ............easy at home , but can sometimes be a pain while on vacation for the return trip home. We stopped printing boarding passes a long time ago. We just do our 24 hour check-in with the confirmation # , and names of passengers, then get our boarding passes printed at the airport while checking our bags. Easy .

You definitely don't need the cc'd number anymore!

I book flights on my cc'd for my mother in law and my daughter fairly often, SWA, USAir and Jet Blue usually and they have never needed my cc'd number. Just be sure you have their info correct to match the id and their ff number and your all set.

My mil flies about 3x a year and my dd much more often than that and again never an issue in the past 4/5 years.

On the return flight they can use a smartphone and reprint at the airport or ask the hotel concierge to do this for them. Also SWA just introduced smartphone boarding passes - no need to print just show the BP via the smartphone at TSA.
