question re poly vs GF

we love the Poly and have stayed many times - one of the primary reasons is the monorail to MK from the hotel and a quick walk to TTC for monorail to EPCOT...

question for those of you that stay at the GF - how do youget to EPCOT - is it monorail all the way around to TTC and then transfer?

Hi! Yes, we take the monorail to TTC then transfer. I do love GF, but it's nice at Poly walking over to TTC. The only place to walk from GF is the Poly. Beautiful walk though!

Another option if you have the time is to walk to the TTC from the Grand. As the previous post said, the walk is very nice from the Grand to the Poly, then just enjoy the walk through the Poly to the TTC. Or walk from the TTC back to the Grand. Either way it should take about 15 minutes.

If you're taking the Resort Monorail from the Grand Floridian you will stop at the Magic Kingdom and Contemporary before arriving at the TTC.

We took the small ferry boat that runs from the MK to the GF to the Polynesian then back to the MK. We would get off and walk over to the TTC. Again it will take about as long as walking there by the time you load and unload, but just another suggestion. Our room was in Conch Key so it was very convenient.

You can also take the bus from the GF to Epcot.

You can also take the bus from the GF to Epcot.

There is no bus to Epcot, the only option when using Disney transportation is to use the Monorail from the Transportation & Ticket Center.
