Question re: lost tooth.

Hi~

My DS just lost his first tooth. It is his bottom front tooth. My DH and I are having a disagreement about the way it came out. He thinks that it didn't come out all of the way and that there is supposed to be a root. To me it looks like my teeth when I lost them. The dentist isn't open until Monday (I will call and check), but was wondering if any of you wonderful ladies could help me.

My daughter at 11, has lost almost all of her baby teeth. Never saw a root. I think your son is just fine!

The roots on baby teeth dissolve as they grow allowing for them to fall out.

My dd1s 6. She lost her first two teeth last month. They were both next to each other on the bottom. Teh first came out and the bottom was sharp. The toothe was long. It looked strange. Then when the second came out it was much smaller than the first. I questioned my friend who is a dental hygenist and she said that is normal.

my oldest daughter has lost 3 baby teeth and we saw roots with all of them? I know they were ready and supposed to fall out because her new teeth are already in. werid. I had no idea they weren't supposed to have roots.

Mine went to build the tooth fairy's castle.
Mine that fell out had no root, the ones I had extracted did, maybe that's why DH is confused?

My tooth fairy is best friends with my daddy and has so many children to visit that she dictates to my dad her response to our notes

I had a bunch of teeth extracted and they all have roots. My teeth didn't like to fall out.
