Is there alot of Citgo gas stations on the way to WDW? We are coming from Brownsville Tx. I know that there are some one the way to Houston and some in Houston, but after that I don't remember seeing any(ok, I didn't pay attention:crazy: ). We had a new station just open up and they are now selling prepaid gas cards. I thought that might be a good idea to do, but only if I can use them. I guess I'm afraid to get them because I might not be able to use them on the trip. I thougth it would also easy to buy one for 20.00 each payday. I won't miss that 20.00 at all.

I guess I'll go and check out there website and see.

Thanks
Sabrina

I think Citgo's are fairly common along the route from Alabama to Florida. I understand your concern, I remember our second trip to WDW my husband and I brought an Exxon gas card and there were none to be found between our house and Orlando!

Does anyone know what the most common gas station would be from MA to FL. I was thinking of buying prepaid gas cards from now until November to save up gas money for our drive down. We only have Exxon, Mobil, Hess, Shell around here. Not sure which ones that I would be able to buy. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kim

There are a lot of Hess gas stations in the Orlando area. They usually have the cheapest gas. I don't know of any here in East Tennessee.

Are you a Sam's Club member? Do you have a Kroger's (grocery store) card? They are the cheapest gas stations around here. The local Sams is right off the interstate. I've also filled up at the one near the Disney Welcome Center in Ocala (think that's right) FL.

We usually look for a Racetrac. They are cheaper here and in Georgia. There is one at I-75 exit 5 in Georgia that we usually stop at right before hitting the higher Florida gas prices.

We almost always stop the same places on every trip, so I've never really paid much attention to the stations. Exxons are usually the highest priced here. Not so many Mobiles and Shells, but they are high also.

Prices here have gone down about a dime. Hope it follows us to Florida.

I put some extra money on my paypal debit/credit card that I am going to use for gas. That way I can use it where I find the best prices or where I need gas. I like the paypal card cause we just put it up and only use it for our vacation!
