Question on Transfering points

?? When transfering points into another DVC member's account, do you need their member number or is this somehow able to be done without the actual
member number to keep privacy. I would imagine your member number is a personal thing. We are new DVC members and may need to try to transfer points (trade) on this board soon because we have points that were not banked by original owner and we unfortunately will not be able to use them. Any advice on how transfering to another DVC member works, would be appreciated. I really would rather try to do this than just try to trade. Thanks.

things can go a bit smoother if you have the other member's MemberID#, but it is possible to initiate the transfer without that #.

i think as long as you can provide Member Services with the full name, address, phone#, and a description of the contract that they want points transferred into, then they can do the transfer.

let me know if you have any other questions. i just did some outgoing transfers this week for the first time, and they were very easy.
