I read that you can only use it once per ride. So is it like a card, or how does that work? I'm asking because I am thinking of getting one for our trip, but we probably wouldn't use it on every ride, so I was wondering if, instead of riding the water rides, we could ride Spiderman again. ;-) I figure it isn't set up that way, but I figured I'd ask anyway. :-D

If you are talking about the express book you purchased I believe it is a booklet that has paper tickets for certain rides. You only have one pass for certain rides so I doubt you can use one pass to ride another one. I am basing this on having people in the parks offer me a paper ticket from their booklets as they were getting ready to leave the park. Maybe someone that has purchased one will answer you question.

They don't use a booklet anymore. It is a ticket that is either scanned at the ride or initialed at the ride. You can only use it once per ride.

At IOA kids under 44 inches can't get on alot of rides, however they offer the
kids nothing extra for this, they can't go on any of the coasters but they also can't go on a kids ride in place of this, but still kids are charged full price for the express. shame on Universal, show some flexability.....

I dont consider three rides "a lot" of rides. But I do see your point.
Maybe they should think about selling a separate kids express plus for the under 44" crowd. It could exclude the 3 rides they cant ride and give them an extra rides on the flying unicorn or something similar.

Express access is not offered on a lot of the smaller "kiddie" rides due to their low hourly capacity. If express were to be offered at these attractions their wait times would go far beyond what they should be. Its bad enough that most days people have to wait 90 minutes to get on Pteranadon Flyers, with express it would easily go past 180 minutes for guests in the standby line. And as someone already said, the few attractions the little ones can't go on doesnt compare to the number of attractions they can go on. And there isnt anyone saying you have to buy express, its voluntary.

Is there a list of what rides use this?

The reason that the wait time is 90 mins for Pteranadon flyers is because it is used by people who shouldn't be using it. If you don't have kids under the height you shouldn't be in the queue. This was about the only ride apart from Zeuss ones that my littlest could do and it infurated me that we had to wait so long due to adults and students using it. My kids don't get on the other rides as they are too small so they should enforce the height restriction on this ride and turn people away. We have to run as soon as the park opens to get this ride done first because if you don't do it right away the wait time is ridiculous.
This is about the only ride you can't express. You can or could express the other kiddie rides in Zeuss landing.

They were turning people away when I was there last August. I got in line with my 2 children and my Mom was a few steps behind us, they stopped her and made her show which kid she was going on with. They wouldn't let my brother in line at all. We ended up not waiting anyway since the line was so darn long.
