Question on Room rates and Packages

I have a question. We are looking into a vacation in Nov. on the Silver plan. We have been to Disney both with and without package plans, and prefer the package plan. Anyway... My question is, if we book our vacation now, we will get rack rate on the rooms. Is it possible to go back later on when discounts come out, and get the discount on the rooms even though we are going with the package??? Or, when you go with a package plan, can you not get discounted rooms???

We haven't used a package in many years and these packages are new for 2003. However, on Mousesavers.com it says that when discounted rooms rates come out they can usually be applied to packages. Hope this helps a little.
