Hi,

I am majorly confused. :bounce: What is the difference between buying a package through AAA or buying a package through CRO with AAA discount? Which gives you the most bang for the buck, so to speak?

Also, if you go through AAA do you have to pay for the entire package at the time you book, or can you pay some at a time like you can going through Disney directly?

Thanks so much!

Mary

I think most of us campers don't do packages. You might try posting this on another board--maybe Theme Park Attractions(?)

Do you feel it is still cheaper to not buy a package? I thought with the new ticket structure AAA packages were now the cheaper way to go about it. I saw the one gal had bought a AAA camping package for tenting. But if that's wrong, and it's still better without the package, please let me know.

Thanks!
Mary

We have annual passes and just book a room only--sometimes with codes and sometimes not. I don't belong to AAA so I can't help you there, either.

I usually don't book packages, but we did this time as we were able to get 7 day hoppers for the price of 3 or 4 day hoppers with the package. A friend of mine is a WDW travel agent. Her DIS name is ILUVTINK--if you'd like to PM her.

I had sent an email to AAA to get their rate, and I didn't hear back from them, so I went with my friend as we are going during the NE's spring break and FW was filling up quickly.

Good luck.

Thanks Barb! I will likely PM your friend soon. I'm looking for this coming fall or December.
