Could someone please tell me the process on what my family will have to go through to order tickets at the window. We are planning on doing Epcot the first day and then MGM the second. What time should we get there? 8:15? Also, do we wait in a separate line (for those who have to purchase tickets)or will we have to wait with everyone else and then once they open, will we have to beline it to the window. Just want to allow ample time to get all of this out of the way so we can hightail it to TT. Thanks in advance!!

If you are staying onsite and are not buying Annual Passes you can buy them in the lobby of your resort.
There are ample ticket windows at the entrance to all the parks to purchase your tickets if you prefer this method.

My mom needed to buy tickets at the parks as she was only visiting for two days and we stayed off-site. She actually bought all tickets at once, I believe, at AK. She either bought all (MGM, AK, and MK) at AK or the main ticket center. The booths are outside the entrance, so get there early and buy tickets and then get in the entrance lines. We were there at a slower time in May, but my word of warning is that there were not many booths open and the line took a little while.

Just ask at Epcot if you can get all tickets at once - you may be able to! Good luck and have FUN!

If you only want single day tickets then you can buy 2 or 3 single day tickets for a discount. Which means you can only go to one park a day (no hopping) and they expire within several days of purchase. We bought ours that way on our last trip (funds were tight). We bought them at Epcot and we went right to the ticket window, bought them then got in the entrance line. The actual ticket buying line only had one person ahead of me. We got there about a 1/2 hour before park opening.

Thanks to those who replied. Yes, we are staying off property and knew this was the only way to get 2 day tickets. I think they say you can buy a single day ticket and then somehow ask for another return day ticket which then allows you to get $5 off pp. I wish we had the funds to stay longer and stay on property. Next year we plan on a BIG Disney vacation so I will stay posted to this board till next year for savings!!

Right at the window they have the discounts for the 2nd day--- you have to purchase the second day ticket that day.
