Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone could help me with a question - we will be staying at Emerald Island Resort in March, and I am trying to figure out the fastest way to get from Orlando International Airport to the resort. I have been on Mapquest but didn't find it too helpful.

Thanks so much,
MouseGirl

This si the route I give to our guests.

http://www.kissimmee-us192.com/british/mco_2_kissimmee1.html

From here you take the 192 west exit off of I4
At the intersection of 192 and Formosa Gardens blvd take a left the intersection is a little after mile marker 5
At stop sign take right onto Funie Steed Rd
Take second left into Emerald Island Resort
Stop at guard shack and state where you will be staying and you will be asked to proceed to clubhouse to get a car tag

If you pass the Dolphins you have gone to far.

Hope you have a great time.

You can alway the owner or man/co they may have better directions.

Another route using the 417 we give to our guests
1. Follow the exit signs, choosing the red South Exit to the SR417 South.

2.Follow the red signs until you are approaching SR417.

3.The SR417 South sign is actually a right turn (going straight on will take you on the SR417 North).

4.Continue on the SR417 South until you get to Exit 2 to Celebration Avenue (this takes approximately 40 minutes).

5.Turn off the SR417 at exit 2 (Celebration) and go through the auto toll booth ($50c change only). Through the toll both turn right at the junction.

6.Go through one set of traffic lights, then at the junction (second set of traffic lights) at the intersection of the US192, turn left (US192 West).

7.Follow the US192 West for approximately 5 miles, passing a number of intersections.

8. At Marker 5 (just after Sherberth Road Junction)take the next left (Formosa Gardens Boulevard).

9. Follow the road around for about half a mile until you come to a cross roads. Turn right onto Funie Steed.

10. Follow Funie Steed you will pass Oak Island Cove, Emerald Isle is the next on the left
