I wasn't sure where to put this question, so I'll try the community board.

Our family is thinking about taking a cruise this winter as cruising seems to be so reasonable right now. Can any recommend a good cruise line for kids (8 and 10 when we travel)? (Besides Disney, of course. Remember, I'm talking reasonably priced ;) .) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend RCCL. I've cruised on them before and really liked them. A travel agent I talked to said that they have the best kids' clubs, next to DCL of course! ;)

We started cruising RCCL when I was 12 and my sisters were 10 and 14. We loved the kids clubs! Carnival's weren't as fun. And by the time I cruised Disney, I was too old. But RCCL's are a lot of fun, with basic activities. I'm sure they've gotten better since I was a kid, too! (Oh sooo many years ago! We're talking 1991 here!)

We love Royal Caribbean, but felt that Carnival had a better children's program. Carnival's prices happen to be cheaper too! Unfortunately, we have had some bad experiences with Carnival and now only travel Disney or RCCL! The food is better, the entertainment is better and the ships are cleaner!
