I got my very first job, and my first purchase will be a cell phone. I was thinking about having my grandmother add me on to her plan for $20 a month, and share her 1000 minutes (plus free nights and weekends) a month with her and my mom. But I have no texting capabilities. And the service kind of stinks up here in the sticks. I was looking at t-mobile and for $35 a month I can get 300 minutes, free nights and weekends and 400 incoming and outgoing text messages. Do any of you have t-mobile? Is this going to be a wise way to spend my 7.50 an hour that I'll be making? I'm also trying to save for drivers-ed, but a cell phone is a precious commodity that my parents said I have to pay for myself!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
