Question For The Frequent Visitor

I watched the shows from the Travel Channel last night. I now know why I want to visit so often. It is because there is so much to experience. There is no way that a person can see it all unless they are taking a really long vacation. This will be our third trip, and we are doing so many new things this trip. We are eating at Chef Mickeys, trying for a cruise, Fantasmic, Polynesian Luau, parasailing, and I believe a few more that I can't recall right now. Oh, I know, miniature golf and Pleasure Island. There is still so much I'd love to do. We just don't have the time. I'd like to take a tour, go to the water parks, try some different restaurants, go at Christmas time, etc. etc. etc.

So here is the question part. For those of you that go frequently (yearly) do you always try to do something else? Have you truly experienced all you care to experience at WDW? Do you go back to do it again, or do you always find something new to do?

I am not sure that I qualify for frequently, but yes we do always find something different.

We also stay some where different.

We have our favs also.

This year there are so many new attractions, I can't wait.

I don't make a point to try new things. If it happens, it happens, but generally I stick to the things I like, and if the urge to do something new hits, we do something else. Otherwise, we're content with what we're experiencing and don't stress over what we're missing out on.

We always try new things. We have been staying at the Poly and will continue to do so but we always throw in something new. We go twice a year for 10-12 days each trip and have yet to experience everything! I can't imagine going for 7 days once every 5 years or so like some do. Well, we used to do that too years ago and it never dawned on me that there was so much more to do! So what is everyone doing on the next trip that you haven't done before? We have tried just about every restaurant that we want so we are just visiting a couple of new rides since our last trip in May. DD 20, and I are also going to Pleasure Island one night to check it out. We've never been there and now that she is old enough we are going!

Just check out my sig! ;)

We go a couple of times a year and we always do something new! We stay in a different resort each time, eat at a new restaurant each time and if there's a new attraction, we try to catch that as well. Really looking forward to Mickey's Philharmagic as there hasn't been anything new at MK since Pooh!
How else could I accomplish my goal before I die?? :upsidedow

We go at least 2 times a month, and tho we have our favorite things to do, we are still trying new things. Last time we went, we finally took an afternoon just to go to Ft Wilderness and eat at Trail's End Buffett. Another visit, not too long ago, we ate at 'Ohana's then went down to the beach there to watch the fireworks. My family, esp. inlaws, think we're crazy because everytime they call we've either just gotten home from, or are heading to WDW. What they don't realize is there's so much more than just the castle and MK.

Skiwee, when you go for 10-12 days what do you do? How many days are spent in the parks? After those 10 days do you feel like you've gotten to do all you want to do? I wish I could go for 10 days. We just can't seem to take that much vacation at a time.

We never feel like there is nothing to do. I wish we could stay longer as those days fly by all too quickly. We have APs and hit the parks every day if only for a few hours. Since coming to the Poly we find we are at the resort more and more. Since getting APs we don't feel we have to stay in the parks from sun up to sunset. We hang out at the pool quite a bit and just relax. After a few hours in the park we look forward to coming back to the resort to do just that. We would have stayed longer but since we drive most of the time we spend about 4 days on the road taking our time getting there. I really do not like to fly but due to time constraints and DD's job we have to fly this time but will only be there for 10 days. We are going back in May and if I can get over my flying paranoia will be flying again and staying for 14 days! We spent 35 days in WDW last year and it still was not enough to see and do everything. I would stay longer then but I do not go with DH as he isn't a big WDW fan so I feel a little guilty leaving him home that long. Just a little guilty though! LOL!::MinnieMo

We go a couple of times a year and usually once for at least 2 weeks or longer. As an example this past August we went for 17 days and along with our fav things we did new stuff (and this for someone who's been going since the MK opened!!) Our kids are finally old enough to go to DQ alone, so for 3 nights hubby and I left them there and went to PI. We had never been there before and it was a nice experience for us. It was great, we had walkie talkie type things and picked the kids up when DQ closed. Also we got the lenght of stay package at the Poly for the boats (we were there a week) and the kids had a blast using the water mice for hours and hours and we took a couple of trips in the pontoon boats. It was real nice, I picked up lunch at Captain Cook's and we ate as we cruised around. Also I took the Behind the Magic Tour with my brother (my hubby and sister-in-law took the kids to Blizzard Beach). I always wanted to do this tour and it was wonderful. We always find soooo mcuh to do. As soon as we come home, after every visit, we start talking about what we didn't do this time and what we will do next time! That, for us, it the great thing about Disney, it never gets old and there's always something wonderful to do.
