Hi! I'm new to the forum but not to Disneyland. My fourth trip is planned from September 23-30, I have 5 day park hopper passed and plan on going either Sunday- Thursday or Monday-Friday. My question is actually more of a 'what would you do'? There are three MHP parties the week we Are in the park and I feel like if I don't purchase party tickets, we will feel ripped off of our Disney time!! Which party would you purchase tickets for to maximize experience? Is the MHP party ticket worth it, are all the rides in Disneyland open to the party goers? Since hours are Much shorter we would like to have a late Disney evening experience, which is why I'm willing to shell out for the extra tickets. Thank you for any advice!

I haven't been to a Halloween party yet, but will be going for the first time in October. I'd almost suggest getting tickets for the Monday or Wednesday since they're cheaper since you already have passes. As far as I know, all rides are open to party goers. There's also special Halloween fireworks (weather permitting) and Halloween parade.

I'd also suggest going Sunday-Thursday so that way you get at least one regular late night in the park.

While I'm no expert... I'd go to a Wednesday MHP. Mid week always seems less busy to me.
The times we have been to a MHP, all rides are open.

As far as park time...
Look at the entertainment schedule as well as park hours.
Fireworks and Fantasmic! do NOT generally show through the week. So if you were want to see them you'd need to be in DL on Sat or Sun.

I suggest Sunday to Thursday.

By the way...... Wikker24 :welcome: to the board.

Thank you! Leaning towards Sunday-Tuesday using our park hoppers, Wednesday party, and using our last two days of park hoppers Thursday and Friday. Still wishing there was not three parties that week, but we will make the most of it!

The party is a lot of fun! I have a hard time paying as much as they want now because I've been so many times and remember paying only $25 for ticket the first time we went. Wednesday would probably be a good day to go. Bring extra sturdy bags for candy, the ones they give you are small and don't hold as much as you can get. Have fun!!
