Just booked with them for August trip.
(by far the best price for "in terminal" agencies).
I noticed that previous posters mentioned about presenting their insurance card....I'm assuming they are talking about the typical wallet size insurance ticket?....or do they need a copy of the insurance document itself (stating rental car insurance coverage)?

I would bring both the insurance card and your documents as well in order to avoid paying the extra coverage. Actually you can check with them as to what your policy needs to include in order to decline their insurance. then check with your insurance carrier to confirm that you are covered for those.

I don't even think we gave any insurance card, we only declined it all. Actually we used a gold card so i think you can decline all insurances with that one anyways.

FYI, L&M allows second driver for free (I think you may have to be married, you can check that out).

Only positive experience with this rental company, and much cheaper than others.

L&M is one of the companies that reserves the right not to rent to you if you neither buy their collision nor have collision on a car of your own back at home.

If it is Daytona Week or between Christmas and New Years and they can rent the cars out for a lot more than your ressie says, they probably will want to see your insurance policy coverages pages; if it is slightly after New Years or Labor Day they probably won't ask.

We have used L&M for the last 3 or 4 trips and have never had to show any insurance card or info.
I always decline any coverages through the rental agencies, however I keep a state farm card in my wallet with info on one of our vehicles.
We also have additional coverage through our credit card.
We have been (obviously) pleased with L&M and are looking forward to that again on June 2nd!

We've used L&M twice and although I always have my Declarations Page from one of my vehicles with me, I have never been asked to show it. That goes for any of the onsite agencies, none have ever asked to see it.
