Question for Canadians (Ontario) - driving to HHI

A question for people living in Ontario who have driven to Hilton Head:

My kids don't do very well driving long distance, and could probably do 4-5 hours per trip before having to stop for the night.

When driving from Ontario to Hilton Head, where do you typically stop where there is something to occupy the kids (all under the age of 10)?

We drove to Hilton Head in early July, from Mississauga.

If you will only drive 4 - 5 hours per day, it's going to take you a long time to get to Hilton Head. It's about 16 hours of driving.

Anyway, about 5 hours out of Toronto is Pittsburgh. There's lots of places to stay just north of Pittsburgh in Cranberry Township, PA. 6 hours from Pittsburgh is Statesville, NC. From Statesville, it's about 5 hours to Hilton Head.
