I have a request for Aulani owners. When you get your Aulani deed, can you let me know some information about your deed? I'd like to know
Your Aulani Unit #
Your Use Year
Your Guaranteed Week ##, if applicable
All of this information should be available on the deed that is part of the ownership papers you receive from Disney. You can either post the data to this thread, or you can PM me if you prefer.
Your responses will help us get a picture of Aulani's composition in terms of total points and Use Year configuration. Indirectly, we might even be able to track the percent of Aulani Declared for the DVC membership and the percentage of Guaranteed Weeks throughout Aulani's Use Year. I will post the collected information here on the disboards. Of course, I won't divulge any personal information.
Your help is needed because this data is not readily available from Hawaii's Bureau of Conveyances, the State office where timeshare deeds are recorded and filed. Although these records are available to the public, the HBC charges $1 a page to view timeshare deeds and condo related filings. By comparison the Orange County Comptroller, HBC's counterpart servicing WDW, permits free online access for virtually all records. Thus, we have very solid estimates of BLT's and AKV's total points, the percent declared for the DVC members, and the percent sold. With your help, we can attempt to have the same information about Aulani.
Thanking in advance all the Aulani owners who share their information.
