We have an upcoming trip, and will be using the DP for the first time. From what I understand from the DP thread, if you have extra TS/CS credits left at the end of your stay they MAY convert them to snack credits, depending on what resort you're staying at.

We will have some TS credits left - has anyone that stayed at SSR been able to convert them to snack credits?

Thank you for any help!

I think they only did that last year. I haven't heard about anyone getting to convert TS to CS or Snacks. I wouldn't count on it and if you can do it be unexpectedly surprised.

If you know you are going to have "some" TS leftover is it really worth it to do the DP?

I was in the candy store, over at the Boardwalk, and tried to convert some CS credits into snack credits, but they wouldn't let me. Maybe someone has had better luck elsewhere.

We stayed at SSR this past Easter and had 3 left over CS meals. I asked the manager if we could get CS, but not the entree and just take the drink and desserts to go for the plane. He agreed and we ended up getting 3 large water bottles, 1 big bag of pretzles, a giant box of character cookies, a giant box of oreo type character cookies. I guess it's who and how you ask?

When I checked out in April, we had 1 TS credit left, so I asked the CM if she could change it to a CS and she went in to our reservation and simply changed the number of credits that were in our account.

If you are going to have some TS credits left why not go to a 2 TS restaurant one night and use them. Seems like a better deal to me.:confused3

We just left SSR on Wednesday 5/2 and had 3 CS and 3 snack credits left on the DP. The women at Artists Palette said we could buy anything up to $4.00 for our snack and if we needed to convert our CS for snacks we could just add additional drinks. They were very flexible in the end about what we could get and we ended up with loads of food for the drive back to NH.

P.S. Beware of the DP because of the amount of food. We wouldn't normally eat this much even on vacation.

minnierealtor - thank you so much for your information! Honestly, we're very excited about the DP, because usually we either pack snacks or share counter service to save money. Using the DP this time will really allow us to sit, relax, and enjoy food we wouldn't normally eat. :)
