DH & I are going to The World the first week of October this year. I checked the crowd levels on www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm and they are saying all 5's and 6's. should i be worried. we are used to going the beginning of September, which is pretty much dead. Just some thoughts please. I am thinking of wait times and things like that. :)

We went Oct. 8th to 16th 2 years in a row and a had a great time. Crowds will not be as low as September but you really shouldn't have more than a 10 min wait for most rides.

I now live in the Orlando area, so crowd levels don't mean much to me. But, before I moved to Orlando, I also worried about crowd levels. I've since come to the conclusion that it does no good to worry about it and adds unnecessary stress to your vacation planning process. If you picked a time that is good for your visit, relax. It will work out. Go with the attitude that you will do as much as you can comfortably do. If you have to stress over it, is it really worth it?

Don't worry, you'll be fine! Have a great vacation!

We went last October 11th and thought the crowds were pretty good. The only time we had an issue with crowds was at MNNSHP parade, we were a little late getting a soptr figuriong the second parade would not be crowded and it was packed. Still did OK but missed out on my favorite veiwing area.

In the slower seasons they cut back on staff and some of the lines so I find usually rules of crowd avoidence still apply. (Go early, hit the Mountians first, eat lunch at off peak times etc.)

Another factor will depend on how many Hurricanes we have this year.

shhhhh...i'm hoping a hurricane doesn't hit when we go!! When we went with my family in 2004 we had to push it off for 3 weeks due to the hurricanes!!
