Question about Yak and Yeti

My mom and I have an ADR there in December and this is new for us and we aren't familiar with where it is located.

We know its in Animal Kingdom, but is it close to the front or the back of the park?

We have it for around 5:30 is that a good time or should we have gone later they seemed to have plenty of availability. It's a day where they open an hour earlier so I thought we would be able to go early to the park, hit all the big attractions, then have a nice dinner, and then spend that night maybe relaxing back at our hotel.

We are flexible eaters we can eat late no problem or early I just don't want to make a mistake about timing and getting to see the biggies.

yes it is by Kali River Rapids, when you exit the attraction you'll be looking at it. We saw it under construction last time, and it's on our video. We're eating there in Dec. too! Cant decide between the duck or the ribs. A little of both would be great! Your ADR time sounds fine, just be sure to see the Jingle Jungle Parade at 3:45pm. Then maybe do Everest or Kali and you'll be ready for dinner.
