Question about viewing fireworks from contemporary

The last time we were at Disneyworld we went to view the fireworks at The Contemporary. The music from the show was not playing. It was music from the resort.
Has anyone been there recently and do they have the music from the show?

Also we sat in the row of seating but people stood all around us and we couldn't see the show.

The night we plan on going it is the Halloween show. Will we be able to view it from there?

I haven't been recently, but they have played the fireworks music when I have been there.

I usually walk up the east side stairs from the deck until I am above the monorail track, so the trains don't block my view.

1. Yes.
2. Yes.

At the Contemporary, there is viewing on an outdoor observation area on the 4th floor.
The California Grill observation areas are reserved for patrons that day of the Grill or Bar.

I'm not sure of your situation but if you want to sit to see fireworks, anywhere, and you haven't paid extra for it (maybe you did at the Contemporary?), I'm not sure why would you think you could see the show while sitting when everything is up in the air and others want to see it as well. I'd like to hear more about that so if I want to watch the fireworks from the same spot but someone is sitting, I know when I'm not supposed to be in front of them. Thanks.

Ah - the two posts in front of me didn't show up when I was typing my answer. All clear now - you where inside the Contemporary, not on the beach.

Gotta be in your room (TPV - they pipe the music through on a TV channel), at the club level lounge or the California Grill to have the music played around you.

Were you at the California Grill? I'm not sure what you mean by "row of seating"?

There are some benches outside on the 4th floor roof viewing area.

I don't recall the music playing at the 4t floor observation deck.

They have played the audio there for years.

But, who knows if they always remember to turn it on? (I don't know how it works.)

I can tell you that we've been at 'Ohana at the Poly on nights when someone has forgotten to
switch the MK fireworks audio into the restaurant PA system (or the audio feed just wasn't working that night.)

Last time I watched from there there was no audio (it was during MVMCP). Good to know it isn't an all the time thing lol!

Umm... Really, unless you don't have Parkhopper tickets or can't get into MK that day, then I'd say just go to the park and watch them. It is only about a 4-5 minute walk. Plus, at the park if you have kids, then you can go back behind the castle where Gaston's is and get a snack while you are watching. And there is an ice cream place near there. It sounds like it is a bad place to watch the fireworks, but you can watch them go off all around you. The fireworks don't all come from the same place, so when they do the finale, you can just turn in a circle and see all of the fireworks. Hoped this helped!

Hmmmm.

We are arriving late, staying on property and wanted to see the fireworks. We love the fireworks and the show. We like to walk around The Contemporary and go to the shops.
We will only be there for a few days. I just want to enjoy as much as I can.

We are going to MK but just wanted extra fireworks on the night we arrive.

The Contemporary has the viewing area with seats for viewing. When I went with my daughter we sat there and it was great! Great view of the show and fireworks. They had the music from the show.

The last time with my husband they didn't have the music. It was music from the resort.

Sooo, I was just asking if anyone was recently there and had music.

I guess I was wondering about the Halloween show but I did some reading and I see it is still fireworks but with different music. Thanks.
