Question about the golf carts

Hi, I've never posted on this forum before, so please excuse my possibly dumb question

I have a friend that will be staying in a FW cabin in January, I know that you can rent golf carts right there, but he's wondering if you can rent one from an outside company that delivers? More cost efficient is what he is thinking. I have a feeling it's not allowed, but I thought I would come here and ask the experts

1) There are several companies that rent golf carts.
2) All are cheaper than Disney.
3) They all deliver and pickup - although the methods may vary.

I was just going to ask what the Fort charges per day for golf carts, but looks like these offsite GC places are the way to go.......even if you're saving only $5!

Depending on the # of days, you can save waaaaaaaaaay more than that. We have a recent report on the golf cart thread of someone that was charged just under $300 for a 10 day off-site rental. That's a savings of over $300 compared to what Disney would charge.

Last I heard Disney cart rental rates were around $64/day
