Question about tax checks mail time..

Ok, normally I do rapid refund/direct deposit of our income tax, but my ex (in one of his many games) claimed one of my girls on HIS taxes this year forcing us to mail in our refund with the paperwork to show that I am legally the one allowed to claim her. Anyways we noticed that the refund status shows our check will be mailed out March 19th (yea!!). How long does it normally take to get the check in the mail? Also do they ever ship out BEFORE the date stated? We are using some of it for our upcoming surprise WDW trip and I am not sure which weekend to book lol.

you can still do direct deposit if you mail in your taxes, did you do that ? Just keep checking the site and it will update you on the checks status.

I didn't do direct deposit..didn't know you could until AFTER I had mailed it (hate tax forms lol). Will it update after it mails or if it says its scheduled to mail on 3/19 then that IS the date it will mail with no chance it will come before that date? And is it like normal mail where once it mails it just takes a couple days to get to its destination? Sorry for the questions, I am REALLY excited to get this lol!
