Question about swtiching room online

I booked with a placeholder this morning, all the 7A's were sold already ( I was hoping for secret verandah room) She put me in a 6A and there is a solid whitewall, so this is a no go since I won't be able to see the ocean if I'm sitting.
I call back wait an hour another woman switches me to a 6A she says has plexiglass.
I was so happy, I look after we hang up and its also a solid whitewall.
So can I change my room online and just pay the difference or do I have to call again??

I was told that you always have to call again and have them change it once you have a reservation booked.

Changing cabins can normally be done online. The problem is if this is for a cruise that isn't open to the general public yet, nothing can be done online until it opens to the general public. So if you want to change it today, you'll have to call. Good news is that I called in at 11:45 and was only on hold for 5 minutes.
