Question about St. Thomas and Tortola taxis

I’m planning to do St. John and Tortola on our own. For budgeting purposes the St. John Ferry lists prices for adults and children. The taxis do not. We will have a 7 year old, 4 year old, 11 month old, and twin 7 month olds in our party. Anyone know which kids we will pay taxi fares for? Is it same on all the Virgin Islands or does it vary by island?

Thanks

Following because I’m thinking about water taxis since all the excursions are booked.

On St. Thomas, you will definitely pay for the 7 and 4 year old, but need to be prepared to pay forr every living body. Taxi rates are per person.

Tortola is BVI not USVI and have different taxi rates. But you again pay per person and should be prepared to pay for every living body.

When we were on St. Thomas not too long ago, it was $10 for 2 to get to the Red Hook ferry terminal from Havensight. I don't recall when it was the 5 of us, but it wasn't more than $20, but that was a few years back
