Question about sold out on-board experiences

Hi all!

We are going on our very first Disney cruise in April for our honeymoon. We would love to do Palo brunch and a mixology class, but they are both sold out on the app.

I've heard through the grapevine that there is a possibility of booking once on board (or at least getting waitlisted). Where do I go to do this? I've heard to do it through the app and I've also heard go straight to guest services once we board and request it there. We are boarding group 4.

Anyone have any recent experience (or success stories) of booking once on board?

Thanks!

If it were me (and you're going out of PC) - I was able to connect to the Disney app while in the terminal. Dining Services opened at 12:30 (while we were still waiting to board) and I was able to do what I needed to via the app.

BUT if you are on board before 12:30, I would go to guest services (although they might send you somewhere else - sometimes it was at one of the bars).

DCL has always held back some adult dining slots for booking onboard. I haven't heard that changed post-covid. So you should be able to get Palo or Remy.

Other activities may vary as to availability or waitlist status once you board.

Oh, good to know about the 12:30 booking window in the app. Thank you!

Someone confirmed that they were still offering many more additional tastings than are available for pre-book. It was like that pre-Covid. On Fantasy, usually go to La Piazza bar to book these once onboard. They make an announcement about where to go fir tastings and Palo/Remy reservations.
