Question about sizing

Does anyone know what's the difference between UK and US sizes? If I'm a size 10 US, what size would I be in UK sizes?

Don't know for sure, but I just bought a pair of Nikes in a size 9.5 and it says UK size is a 7. Maybe 7.5?

A UK 8 is a US 4-6. A UK 10 is a US 6-8. Their sizes are about a size to two sizes smaller than ours.

Why? The US has given in to vanity sizing. The UK's sizing is the same as it's ever been - and 20 or so years ago there was no difference in our sizing!
