Question about scooter accessibility - TKR

My husband just had knee replacement at the end of December, and his recovery is not going well. We have a trip planned in early May. He looked it up and said that DAS didn't apply to him. We have no problem with that, no problem with a wait, but he will not be able to stand for a long period of time, or walk a long way in a queue. Is there a list somewhere of all the standby lines that allow scooters? We will just have to plan to not ride some attractions this trip, but I'd like to know which ones would accommodate, especially the queues with long walks or waits. I don't want to get to the park and the rest of our day is ruined because he has used his tolerance level on one ride. Even if some lines aren't crowded, they are long walks.

They all accommodate. However some may require you switch to a wheelchair provided at the attraction. (Tron, Pooh, sometimes HM come to mind. Tron was hard for me to push my wc user & we were pretty disappointed in the back handicap seat anyway as it seemed dull, don’t recommend that one.) The few lines that can’t accommodate will send you through the LL using a wheelchair return time (jungle cruise). You don’t need prior approval to use that feature.

In all cases where the line can’t accommodate the CMs outside the line will spot you at entry and tell you what to do if you can’t take the ecv in. Just follow their instructions!

Peter Pan, Small World, and Pirates also require you to switch to a wheelchair. I also think that the 3 Caballeros (or whatever it's called) also makes you switch but the queue, depending on when you go, is usually pretty short. Could your DH use a wheelchair on those attractions like a rollator, pushing the chair and then sitting when needed?

The PeopleMover is, sadly, not accessible via wheels (unless there's been a recent change). Test Track can be a hard transfer, as can Frozen and Space Mountain. If transferring is an issue, Jungle Cruise can accommodate certain wheeled devices aboard the vessel.

You may get return time at several attractions, notably Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder. The last car at Big Thunder has wider doors for ease of entry.

Watch your feet/knee/leg on the Doom Buggies! lLeg space can be kind of tight.

He can stand and walk, but a long wait standing won't work (at this time). Hopefully, he'll be better by May. Since it is just us going on the trip this time, I had hoped to avoid spending $$$ on LL passes. That's why I was asking, so I could plan accordingly. Either buy a pass (if it's a must do ride) or skip it this time. He won't need a wheelchair if the wait is short. I appreciate all the feedback about which attractions do and don't allow ECVs. This is new territory for us.

As others have said, virtually all lines, with a few exceptions, are accessible.

Your challenge will likely be range of motion and whether he can bend the joint sufficiently to get into some ride vehicles… thinking of IASW, Pirates, JC... others can add to this. I’ve had my bilateral knee replacements over 12 years and have great range of motion, but there are some ride vehicles that I still struggle with.

Most allow scooter in line the few that do not have wheelchair that you can borrow. The few I can think of at the MK are Tron Pooh Peter Pan. Space mountain there might be other that I am not thinking of. I can not think off the top of my head any at the other parks but there might be a few.
