Ok thank you. That would be great if the get some more videosCurrently those are the only videos. Rumor is that Haunted Mansion will be getting one, but no known date. Just as with the still ride photos, if you have a magic band, you don't need to do anything to get the picture/video - it will just appear in your MDE in the Photopass area automatically.

I dont understand how this works. I mean, your MB knows when you get on the ride because you swipe your MB (I think - never used them) but how does it know where you are sitting? Your MB cant know where you sit on Everest in order to know which pic to attack to your MB, etc so Im confused on how this actually works.
Tell me if I'm wrong, but if you don't pay for Memory Maker, do the photos and videos still show up in you MDE, and then if you want them, you pay for the individually ?
Oh and one other thing....let's say you use Photopass, and take a bunch of photos, then 3 days later you decide to purchase Memory Maker....all those pictures you took will be transferred and be included right away as part of your Memory Maker and all will be available to view on your MDE account. You just need to ask your concierge CM, if you're staying on property, or go to the Photopass center in DTD and they will link it for you!Yep, as part of Photopass, and you can pay for them individually, or in small packages...it's all about the number of pictures you think you'll take on your trip that determines whether or not Memory Maker makes sense...for us, it absolutely did!!!
The MB has a long range and a short range RFID in it. The short range is like the Apple Pay - it's for tapping for park entry, FP+ and payments. The long range is for the ride photos and videos. The sensors in the cameras read it and know to associate that pic with you. The Photopass card has a short range RFID that needs to be tapped when you find your pic on the display - it doesn't associate you automatically because it's not associated with your ticket if you don't have a MB.I am very curious as to how this workd especially with the ride videos. When we were there we rode 7DMT 3 times. Once was with a FP and the other 2 times were with my sons DAS. I don't remember swiping my magic band when we used the DAS yet magically all 3 videos and pictures were all there in my Memory Maker when we got home from the trip. The only think I can think of is the actually ride vehicles have electronic detecters in them that can detect the magic bands without even swiping them. Sort of like the new Apple Pay thing that came out with the iphone 6. Thats my only reasoning on this fact, lol.
