I was wondering if anyone on this board has ever used the following broker to buy a DVC timeshare:

If not, what kind of questions should I ask to make sure my money is actually buying what I think it should be buying. What broker did you use and what was your experience. Thanks.

In addition to any feedback you get here, you can go to http://www.state.fl.us/dbpr/re/frec_welcome.shtml

That's the website of the Florida Real Estate Commission. You can research the broker there. Another thing I would suggest with any broker you don't know a good bit about is to visit www.sunbiz.com and research the corporate ownership - then check the real estate commission to see if any of the owners have had problems. Florida has a very tightly regulated real estate industry, but there are still a few unscrupulous people.

Frankly, I would stay with one of the brokers who deal with Disney timeshares every day. Not only because of ethical considerations, but also because buying DVC is a complicated process, and they know the ropes. In addition, they are likely to have MUCH more inventory as you can see by clicking on "Current DVC Resales" above.

Using a broker who doesn't deal with DVC regularly may just be setting yourself up for disappointment.

Take your time and research everything carefully.

Yes, I have. The whole process went smoothly and I would highly recommend them.
