Question about purchasing magic bands

We have a trip planned for this Christmas. We will be staying at Shades of Green. I think I would like to purchase magic bands for our family, there are 5 of us. I know we don't have to have them. I think it will be worth it just for the convenience of having all of our pictures download automatically, since I will be getting memory maker.

Here's my question, when you purchase them, do you get to pick colors? I really don't want 5 gray bands. I would like to be able to get different colors, both to be able to tell one from the other, and for purely aesthetic reasons.

I know that as a non-resort guest, you can't use them for charging. They do work for tickets, FP+, and memory maker....correct?

When we stayed off-site the first week of June, there were many colors available to purchase- pink, blue, orange, gray, red, green. They also had a ton of accessories you could buy to customize. (Can't remember what they were called.)

Yes! They worked for tickets, FP+ and memory maker. There were a few times my family split up and the bands were super convenient for ride photos.
