If I purchase Universal tickets in advance online and use the print at home option can I trade those in when I arrive for regular type tickets. I do not like the idea of having printing paper type tickets. Is this possible?

As far as I know you can't trade them. Just do will call if that's available for your purchase and get proper tickets from the kiosk.

As far as I can tell, the print at home paper is what you'd be stuck with. I can't tell you how many people we saw using paper tickets to get in last month. It's unwieldy....and many of these were groups that had them stapled together so that the person working at the turnstile had to turn over each sheet and then find out who the person associated with it from the group could come through next.

Use the Will-call Kiosk and get a regular ticket. You'll be a lot happier and though you might wait a bit in a line to get you ticket, it will save aggravation later on.

I have done this recently. We purchased the tickets from Tickets at Work and AAA. I printed out the voucher from TAW and was given a voucher for AAA.

When we arrived at CBBR we tried to do it at the resort ticket counter, the TM says sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Ofcourse for us it did not.
We ended up going to the IOA ticket window for vouchers. It was a special line. No problem went fast for both and then we were on our way.
