QUestion about preserving a flower

I want to save a Lily I got for V=Day this one in practicular couldnt' be more beautiful... whats the best way to preserve it?

Oh Preshi. I used to preserve flowers that I then crafted into projects or sold them in bundles in my store.

The Lily is one of the hardest to preserve, unfortunately. They nearly always turn black or dark brown and the petals RARELY stay on, and usually end up quite curled. (never saw one yet that did stay on, as a matter of fact!)

Are you hoping to press the flower or keep it intact?

Or did you mean preserve = keep ALIVE???

Totally different story, and I can't help with that one. I'm a known plant killer. LOL

I just tried to press it... we'll see how it comes out in a few weeks... poor thing was already curled... man was it gorgeous though!!!

I bet it was lovely....did it have that nice full scent that some of them are blessed with?

(some stink and others smell beautiful...what's up with that?) LOL

Yep they smell fantastic even now and it's been a week. The rest are getting thrown away though today over the weekend the rest aren't going to survive.
